Not Just a Guide. A Local Explorer.
One day, my 8-year-old son said, “Dad, let’s go to the beach.”
We went to collect shells, but he noticed the trash.
So we started picking it up.
An hour later, we filled two big bags.
Before we left, he took this photo.
Moments like this remind me what really matters.I don’t just consume nature—I love and respect it.
I want to be someone who can pass this beautiful world on to the next generation.

This is the real, authentic Tohoku—the Japan you won’t find in guidebooks.
My All-Season Adventure in Tohoku
I live and breathe the outdoors all year round.
🌸 Spring: Cycling under the blooming cherry blossoms. I love hosting local BBQ events near the riverbeds, away from the crowded tourist spots.
☀️ Summer: Chasing the limits. I compete in the grueling Zao Triathlon and love tackling steep hill climbs on my bike.
🍁 Autumn: Trail running deep into the autumn foliage, including the challenging Adatara 50km race.
❄️ Winter: Speeding down the powder snow. I’m a passionate skier who even enters the National Sports Festival (Kokutai) qualifiers.
The True Local Experience (What I Can Share with You)
If you want the standard tourist guide experience, this might not be for you. But if you want to experience the real, authentic Tohoku, you’re in the right place.
♨️ The Secret Onsen: I skip commercialized resorts. I prefer the hidden, historical baths loved by locals—like Kamigano-yu or raw, rustic community bathhouses (like Fukisarasu) in the Zao area.
🍶 Sake & Soba: I’m obsessed with local culture. I know the best hidden Soba noodle shops, and I never miss the monthly local Sake parties at our neighborhood liquor store.
👥 Community First: Nature is about people. I’m deeply connected to my community, organizing neighborhood tag games and Children’s Cafeteria (Kodomo Shokudo) events to support local kids.

Love NatureI don't just consume nature—I love and respect it.

Respect CultureI honor local traditions, people, and the land we share.
